Waldorf Kelip-Kelip

Main Lesson on Chinese language, Arts, Science, Mathematics, Geography and History are taught during the first two hours in the morning for three to five weeks. However, the child will only need to learn one subject at a time for several weeks before moving on to the next subject. This allows an in-depth treatment for each lesson given. As the child grows, he or she will engage in new levels of experience and knowledge exploration for each subject.

Subject Lesson on English, Bahasa Malaysia, music, painting, handwork, drawing, physical education, woodwork and modeling are taught in shorter sessions after Main Lesson. Cognitively-related academic subjects will be taught in the morning hours while afternoon sessions are devoted for subjects which correspond to the child’s active mind and physique, such as physical education.

Extra Lesson™ is available for children who require further coaching in their learning progress. At Waldorf Kelip-kelip, we allow for individual variations in the pace of learning, based upon the understanding and observation that a child will grasp a concept or achieve a skill when he or she is ready. Hence, our curriculum is planned in sync with the rhythm of the day, targeting at different stages of growth and development of a child.
